Bonnie Brook Golf Course first opened for play in 1928. The course was designed by James Foulis.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6701 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5559 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 14, a par-5 that plays to 548 Yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 17, a par-3 that plays to 178 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 10, a 462 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 2, a 354 yard par-4.
Bonnie Brook is one of the most popular public courses in Lake County, boasting a meticulously manicured 18-hole course with rolling, wooded terrain. Its natural, picturesque landscape allow golfers the ability to enjoy tree-lined fairways, spacious greens, small lakes and the beauty of the north branch of the Waukegan River, which flows gently throughout the course.

The course was in great shape. Staff was friendly. Course was not too difficult, and greens were in very good condition. Pace of play was slow. A great value for the price paid.

I've played at this course for 25 years and have never seen it in better shape or run by more competent people - even with the cutbacks that the economy required. Get lots for your money at Bonnie Brook.

Visiting area on business two weeks each month. This is a nice place. Peaceful and cool in the early evening on a hot summer day. Lots of 350-to-380 yard par 4s.

I've played this course since 1962. You will not find a better course in Lake County for condition, challenge,and price. The grounds crew does a great job. This park district course is Tops.
